We were really excited to start this project with you all but unfortunately we’ve been busy with a load of other commitments! A few admins have dropped out of the project and so all this work became more than we expected — don’t worry, we are not going anywhere! We will be taking a pause on the RCP’s organising until the Summer and by then, we should have a more sustainable method of functioning.

ANIMAL CAREGIVERS MUTUAL AID
This mutual aid initiative is for any ethical animal caregivers — from micro-sanctuaries, to hunt sabs, to animal liberationist prisoners — to get the support they need as we collectively offer it. There is always love and care in liberation. Request/offer here to be featured in our next issue.
Financial Mutual Aid Request: “A friend and I rescued a 5 months old kitten who's been hit by a car a few days ago. She has a broken femur and needs to have surgery if she is to walk correctly again. We're also hoping to find her a home because she's still very young and the area in which she was living is unsafe. The surgery needs to be done as soon as possible in order to have a perfect recovery, and we need to raise $250 to cover it. We will also need money for her spaying ($70), vaccines ($20*3 boosters) and food, litter & flea treatment (~$20/month). Because of the hyperinflation in Lebanon, $250 represents at least 2 months of work for me, and since I am also taking care of 4 other rescued cats, I'm obliged to ask for outside help. I'll send Lushka's Xray's as well as the vet's invoice by email. Any donation can be made through WU.”

Support a sanctuary!!: “So this FANTASTIC, veganic sanctuary in Sligo needs serious help both financial and volunteer based. This is their IG - @heartstonesanctuary. On every post you can read a whole story on their needs. Nia (the owner) runs it all by herself and she takes care of a lot of large mammals (I’d say about 20 cows and sheep, along with 2 dogs, 3 cats and 3-4 horses. Live in long term volunteers are needed, but short term is good too. There is space for people to sleep in, so just get in touch with her. This is also their Facebook page.
